The majority of the skeletal remains are in tact, articulating with contiguous elements. All elements listed below are complete unless otherwise stated. L Metatarsals: all 5 Present R Metatarsals: 2,3,4,5 Present R & L Tarsals: Calcaneous, Talus, Navicular, all three cuneiforms present. R &L Tibia Present R&L Fibulae: R distal fibula missing, just proximal to lateral malleolus. R PATELLA PRESENT R&L Femora: Distal epiphyseal postmortem breakage. R&L Inominates. Postmortem breakage. Pubic symphysis in approximately stage 2 or 3 of aging criteria. L pub. syph. demonstrates increased rugosity supero-ventrally. Very mild borders on both symph. Sacrum 1st coccygeal vertebrae 5 Lumbar vertebrae 11 Thoracic vertebr ae present: Mild intermittent breakage at pedicle for 2 vertebrae. 7 Cervical Vertebrae present. Partial bone fragments of what looks like a bifurcated spinous process belonging to a cervical. It is possible that this element belongs to another burial. R&L Ulna R&L Radius: Postmortem breakage on L distal epiphysis and R proximal epiphysis. R Humerus only R Scapula only: body and medial border missing, postmortem breakage R&L Clavicles: Incomplete/Partial fusion of the medial clavicle. So subject is probably 25yrs or younger. All other epiphyses are fused. Sternal Body only Various Ribs: Postmortem breakage. R Metacarpals: 2 thru 5 present. L Metacarpals: All five present l CARPALS: HAMATE AND CAPITATE PRESENT. R Phalanges: 1st proximal and distal present, 2nd: proximal, middle and distal present. 3: Proximal and middle present 4: Proximal, middle and distal present. MANDIBLE PRESENT R&L MAXILLA PRESENT. L maxillary malar and orbital region missing. R maxilla has a fused zygomatic. Comminuted bone fragments belonging to the skull may contain missing cranial elements. PREMORTEM TOOTH LOSS: (Numbering dental arcade according to modern dentistry): tooth 3 with incomplete resorption of alveolar margins; 17 and 22 complete resorption. POSTMORTEM TOOTH LOSS: 9, 14, 19, 31. CRANIUM: FRONTAL, BOTH PARIETALS, BOTH TEMPORAL AND OCCIPTAL PRESENT.
